Freezing cold when I emerged from my sleeping bag to go for a wee; photographed the feet sign in bathroom (don’t wash feet in the handbasin).
Post breakfast, our day began with a long cold drive through the valley and out of Andorra into Spain. Little change in temperature or landscape for most of the morning and I snoozed. Temperature eventually rose enough for us to roll up the sides to deliciously warm sun. Long lunchtime stop for food and visa forms - gotta love bureaucracy!
Nikki and I need passport photos from camp Nikki, Ben, Ton and I taxied into town (not sure what town - didn't note it down); got photocopies of documents and 20 mugshots each at railway station photo machine.
Fellow Australian Vicki and I stayed up very late talking about our needs, wants, experiences, and willingness - or not - to let down barriers and take emotional risks. Two very different people who somehow have clicked - and I don't think it's just because we are the lone Aussies on board.
