Caption: the hunt for visas sends us to Rabat

After a market trip for supplies, we drive out of Fez, stopping for a roadside lunch. Soon after we drove on, a taxi pulled up beside us with Ben in the back. Perhaps not surprisingly, he’d been prevented from leaving Morocco with 20 passports and a large quantity of foreign cash - Plan D, I think, in efforts to secure us visas, and I can't remember which ones and where he was trying to go to get them.  He had been held for two hours and then sent to retrieve Kelvin.

So... we turned around and drove back to Fez, having thought we’d seen the last of it for a while. Retrieved our passports, and some of Ben's airfare, from police station, ad headed to Rabat to try the embassies there.

Camped in a ploughed field full of sheep beside olive groves, the trees offering sparse toilet coverage.

And so the whole gang is together again. Ton told Ben that Vicki had sewn the legs of Ben's jeans together, spoiling the prank. Have to try and control my cross comments to Ton.

Golden sun and pink moon. Then scrumptious feast of Nikki's fruit curry and vegetable curry. I'm feeling overweight and cross that I am eating so much but the food’s so darn good. I seem to be using that excuse more and more but the good food won't last.
