Absolute chaos on the truck with people packing souvenirs, repacking lockers, and Nikki and I sorting stores amidst the mess.
Ate Niki’s delicious fruit birthday cake for breakfast before our last drive into town. Strolled around with Vicki before bidding her a teary farewell on the edge of the garbage square - she and Ben are both leaving us here and heading back to England.
Long boring drive through the afternoon to the Tanzania border for 1.5 hours of bureaucracy. Camp a short way into our next country.
We celebrated Karen's birthday with freshly made chocolate coconut cake (I should have mentioned earlier that we had a little box oven that sat over the coals and baked excellent cakes) while doing last minute scribbling for the post in Arusha, tomorrow.
