Backtracked for three hours along yesterday’s route, passing our lunch spot and eventually coming to the fork in the road where we’d gone wrong, and taken a road we now saw was marked “don’t use”!
Long, bucking bronco drive, windy but warm in the sun.
Camped after sand matting out of loose ground. Non-drinking water rations cut to 1 cup each tonight, enough to wash hands.
